Brief

Now that time has become our luxury, we require smart fashion that moves seamlessly with our modern, multi-tasking lifestyles, enabling us to be agile and efficient. Cocorose’s philosophy of ‘Modern Luxury’ combines design, comfort and function, ensuring their shoes are considerately designed for smart, on-the-go lifestyles. Now that they’re converting into a fully-online store, their website should be impeccable.

Project goals

The store should bring users the best experience when they navigate through it and buy their shoes, on both desktop and mobile.

Modernise the brand identity to make it attractive to their core audience: a busy, 21st century, on-the-go woman.

Bring that to life in just three-weeks time.

Solution

Revamped UI

To showcase our product, we decided to design and prototype the desktop version first, prioritising real estate and to be able to include all of the information we needed, but always having the mobile version in mind. Then we scaled down our desktop site to mobile, coming up with both versions of the responsive website.

Reorganised IA

We found out one of the biggest pain points of the site was the poor information architecture. Users told us they didn’t have a great experience navigating through the site and it was hard sometimes to find what they needed, so we started by tracing out the layout of the site so it would be easier to navigate, bringing a better UX, something that potentially makes their conversion rate go up.

Focus on foldable shoe

Cocorose London have been designing their signature foldable shoes since 2007, for your everyday-wear, enabling them to fold into their compact travel purse, perfect for busy, on-the-go women. Seemed only natural to give it a place in the spotlight!

Decision making tools
(reviews, perks)

Finding that the last two stages of the purchase process (evaluation of product, purchase) are the more fragile ones, we have to back up our design and equip users with the necessary tools for them to not feel hesitant or distrustful during the whole experience, the main one being reviews.

Your creative insights have provided valuable direction for our brand's future, and we truly appreciate your dedication to this project.
